What those we minister to say about us?
I hope you're having a great day and that God's hand is evident in your work. I admire the dedication and passion of those of you who have followed God's calling on your lives. You are great encouragements to students like us who are sunk in homework and tests. There is still hope for us yet! :)
Thank you so much for your e-mail! It is great to hear how your doing and that you are praying for me.
My name is Seth, I talked to you briefly this week about what SEND offered for mission opportunities in China... especially as related to possibly teaching English. I would be very grateful for any information or contacts you may be able to give me in reference to this. Thank you very much for you time and ministry this last week at our school. May God bless you.
I just wanted you to know I've received your e-mails and have been continuing to pray about everything. Thank you for taking the time to send me all the information, I know you run a busy schedule. I need to get some things done before class, so I need to go. Hopefully I'll get the chance to call you later today or sometime over the next few days. Thanks again for everything and all the prayers.
My name is Joel. How are you doing? I am a student at Frontier School of the Bible we met when you were here last spring. However, last fall you did a session that was highly informative at our fall missions conference. It was really good. Thanks so much, your class was so informative for us, I learned more in that class than probably the whole missions conference.
Hey Martin!
It's a lazy Saturday afternoon and I was just checking my e-mail when I stumbled across this letter from you! My response is VERY belated (sorry), but I wanted to say thanks for the e-mail and that it was very good to see you on campus after World Christian Conference. There are a few missionaries that I really respect, and you and Dave are two of them! You two are actually interested in the students and see them as more than just recruitment opportunities. Whenever I think of you I pray for you and hope that you are doing well.
Hello Martin! It was definitely a blessing to see you, a friendly face, in the midst of all the hustle and bustle that was happening at Urbana! However, God did teach me a lot through my time there, and I had a great time getting to know some of my schoolmates who traveled there with me. I am back at Grace, enrolled in winter session.
I also enjoyed seeing y'all again and I look forward to the next time we meet! Thank you very much for the interest you have shown in ushering me into missions. I would love to see the mission fields that you are introducing students to, but it all depends on where God leads me. It seemed as if He led me away from Chad just recently and had me focus on schooling. I hope to go to Chad in 2010, but again, who knows but the Lord! I will keep my eye on SEND most definitely. My dad speaks highly of that organization.
Of course we'd love to stay in contact. We'd be happy to keep you updated on our progress with the application process with SEND (which we are starting immediately). We'd also like to continue to hear about your ministry.
Jake and I really enjoyed our time with you and your wife. It was really good to meet her. Thank you for getting together with us. It was really encouraging. Jake especially appreciated hearing about different opportunities. He has always had a desire to be involved in ministry, but never knew the extent of the possibilities.
Hello Martin,
I just wanted to shoot you this message to thank you for dinner this evening and so you could get my e-mail address. I truly appreciate the many times that we have gotten to engage in conversation over a meal. You are such a blessing to this community. Thanks again.
I have sporadic access to the internet, but I was very well pleased to receive such a nice e-mail from you! I am glad that God is doing wonderful things this summer, and He continues to work in my own heart and life in such amazing ways! Ways that make me very curious as to what His plans are for my life.
Thanks for the email. I would like to get together if we get the chance.
I would like to let you know where this semester has gone for me and where I'm going and get your perspective on some things. I'll look forward to seeing you this week.
I just wanted to write you and thank you for the visit here last week a couple weeks ago. It was very refreshing and good to be thinking and praying about where the Lord would lead me and have me to go in the future.
I really appreciated getting to meet with you guys and hear first hand some of the things that the Lord is doing with you. That's wonderful. Thanks for your help.
hello! I had a wonderful time in Japan. The Lord really stretched me and the whole team while we were there. I didn't know how there was such a need to share the gospel in Japan before i went on the trip. i would most likely be interested i going again on a short term trip in the future if finances allow. i loved it there and i loved meeting so many new people. thanks for the opportunity to serve. God Bless!
Thank YOU so much for coming. I appreciate your willingness to jump in to different classes and to talk with students as well. I think they appreciate your straightforwardness. Not all Mission reps are that way.
I thank you so much for your incite and your advise. It was really great to hear from you! I think God used you to really speak to my heart. I have always approached life in the matter you suggested.---Keep moving forward and if I am following God He'll close and open any doors necessary for His will to be done. In a moment of weakness things began to blur a little and I just needed to be reminded. Thank you!
My wife and I live in Jackson, mn and are working as youth directors. We have a four month old daughter named Grace. I appreciate your help and will definitely keep you as a resource! We have quite a few youth who are interested in missions and we are trying to point them towards good organizations. God bless you!
Hey Martin,
Thanks for the note. I read both articles. They were both very encouraging and helpful. I'm at a point in my life where my boyfriend and I are in the process of being engaged to be married. He hasn't asked me yet, but we've talked about it at length and both desire to marry each other. Neither of us has ever had a committed relationship before and that has really been a gift from God and this time of waiting is really a time for God to grow us and to teach us to minister to our peers and the younger generations. So, thanks for reminding me of the fruit that trials bring. It's really awesome. I'm hoping you have an amazing rest of the summer. :)
Thank you for the encouraging note! I love your theme for the next school year! God reminded me in my time in His Word this morning that God cares more about what He's going in us then what He's doing through us!
God Bless
Hello!,
Jason and I just wanted to say a big thank you for all of your hard work during the conference, and for being such an encouragement to both of us! We enjoyed meeting everyone and really enjoyed the meals we shared with you getting to understand your ministries better and developing relationships.
Hello Martin,
It has been great getting your emails over the past few years, it really helps me keep Him in focus even while I check my email. I wanted to let you know that since I have finished my B.A. At NWC I have just completed my Masters at Wheaton in May.
